golden garden light

morning breeze so warm light and quiet
summertime bliss

rabbits lay in my backyard
in little soft sandy dirt circles they've created
for dust baths

rollin so full of natural joy on their backs with their white bellies to the sky; their ears back
ah life is good
and they lay there contented

squirrels climb up and down very high trees
looking for nuts that haven't arrived yet

birds of the magical salt marshes play tag

they all meet and eat in harmony alongside the red raspberry bush
there's the couple of red cardinals landing for a moment in the maple tree then they both fly off so happily chirp chirp tweet
bunnies frolicking their auburn ears catching the morning light.
Another day to live and be present in natures golden garden of light.
