Hello, I wanted to contact you about the page on caring for orphaned baby bunnies, but could not get a contact page. I was blessed with a baby cottontail (3 days or less old) three weeks ago today. I feverishly hunted the internet and begged info from locals. It has taken me a great deal of time and attention to get this right and I am still working on it. The reason I am writing is to thank you for your article. While all other sites warned against even attempting and encouraged me to "Be Afraid, Be Very Afraid", yours was the one page that gave me hope. Thank you so much. Honestly that is why I wanted to contact you, but as I write I wonder if you have any insight for dispelling the myths and contradictory information online. Bunzii is at the transitional stage but still needs goat's milk, all internet sources say she needs a cecotrope for intestinal bacteria; the locals say if she has suckled once that is all that is necessary.
